Finally, Hope for America

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  (2Chronicles 7:14)

The last big opportunity Americans had to fulfill this part of God’s conditional promise to restore our land was right after 9/11. They started back to church for a whole month, but it doesn’t appear that they sought God’s face and they certainly didn’t humble themselves. Neither did they see the results of their obedience: the healing of their land. Not only did God not heal the land, but the people who wanted their land healed continued to speak evil of and degrade the environmentalists and animal lovers who try to protect and help heal the land. Today I got some very good news and I thought you should not only know about it, but in whatever way God leads you, join in the divinely inspired actions.

As you read this article remember, I am truly not suggesting that you join with any particular group but with some Godly people of your choosing who really know the Lord and humble yourself, for that is God’s first instruction. Humble means: to bend the knee, to be humiliated and to be brought into subjection (to God). We are all supposed to be subjects of God.

Ultimately, we all will need to understand every clause or part of that single sentence that is called 2Chronicles 7:14. To begin to even hope to live in a healed land that we erroneously believe was called America after Americus Vespucci, but actually was the homelands of many “Indian nations and families, peoples, and tribes,” we must confess and admit to our horrendous past.

Yes, after we caused the existing families to flee for their lives from their homes, even our army gave those poor natives, blankets to keep from freezing!  We were such a kind people!  Of course, these blankets were infected with smallpox, which killed men, women and children!  We had something else for the men, too. As we discovered they had great difficulties with alcohol, we made certain they got barrels of it.  It gave them pleasure in the midst of torment, and helped them to sign treaties!  We white invaders called it “Manifest Destiny,” but God says, “If we do not have love, we are nothing! (1Corinthians 13:2) And all the nations that forget God will be turned into hell.” (Psalm 9:17)  We have been working overtime to create our own hell.

Pastor Ron Phillips of Abba’s House near Chattanooga, TN and Rabbi Curt Landry from Tulsa, OK, have been meeting at both ends of the Trail of Tears after learning that Hitler modeled his concentration camps for the Jews after the ones the American invaders made for the Cherokee Nation.

The recent day I listened to Rabbi Curt Landry and Pastor Ron Phillips plead with us to seek God and the Native American’s forgiveness, humbling ourselves, hope returned to America.  Rabbi and Pastor, together, urged us to humbly confess our sins instead of cloaking them in religious garb. (Rick Joyner has been speaking the same thing.) That very day I also listened as prophetess and writer Theresa Garcia called us to confess and humble ourselves over the black slaves we held in this glorious New World where black women were abused like prostitutes, black men were deprived of their mates, children and just compensation for their labors!

I am not interested, at all, in who you might vote for, or if you vote at all. I mean this! (The King is coming), but for God’s sake don’t eliminate any candidate because of the color of their skin, whether that be black or white!

The everyday people of Haiti are very intelligent, very deprived of opportunity and fairness, and very caring and loving people, yet that country was “developed, by a few manipulative and deceptive nations” from outside the republic. Haiti was the largest slave holding nation in the Western Hemisphere to supply us and others with more slaves and tears to put in God’s bottle and God’s book! (Psalm 56:8)  I join Theresa in asking that we all repent and humble ourselves with very shamed faces. (Proverbs 6:17) How can we remain proud, especially when God hates pride?

We also have nothing to boast about in regard to how we abuse women of the sex slave hostages in America today or the unborn.  These two things are not just dishonoring to humanity and our Creator, they are our National Sins which we must claim and repent of!  We cannot hide from our treatment of animals. Our mistreatment of animals could only be falsely justified by the juvenile claim that, “All the other nations are doing the same.”  Even if we hold down our heads in shame and seek mercy from the Messiah and Savior, for creating “the Trail of Tears” and Human Slavery, we still must address our ongoing torture and massacre of animals. They are loved by the Creator, have feelings and hope for the future and were not made for us to harm. (Romans 8:20) Did we never read that “All things were created by Him, through Him and for His pleasure? (Revelation 4:11)

We may say, “I don’t think our denomination believes that,” but God has one purpose that includes the One New Man.  Many of us struggle with God, but He vigorously practices instruction and chastisements for disobedience or correction are the ways of life. (Proverbs 6:23) For your time’s sake I will conclude with a few verses from the prophet Zephaniah who tells us that when God has nearly completed His purpose we will all serve Him with one accord.  Whether or not we agree right now, we will when He finishes correcting us for not believing His will and His Word! You can either resist God to your own destruction or humble yourself and learn of Him. If you want our land to be healed, I suggest the latter choice.

Zephaniah 3:8-12 says, “Therefore wait upon me, says the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. For then will I turn to the people a pure language that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent. From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. In that day shall thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou has transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride and thou shall no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. I’m going to write verse 12 from the New Living Translation because it really makes the point. “Those who are left will be the lowly and humble, for it is they who trust in the name of the Lord.”

Not only will God heal their land, but they shall have it in possession for ever and ever and they shall keep it just the way He likes it. (Daniel 7:18)
