Why the US Government and you need God
God once spoke out of a cloud with an audible voice to many people
simultaneously. As Jesus Christ was being water baptized these words
from Heaven spiritually, mentally, emotionally and audibly shook the place.
God boomed these words from a cloud: “This is my beloved Son in whom I am
well pleased. Hear Him.” (Mark 9:7) Today we would say, “Listen to Him, pay
attention to Him and heed Him.” The declaration of independence says we have
been endowed with certain unalienable rights by our Creator. Among these are
the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness (not that the
government can kill us with even giving a reason or admitting to the crime).
How happy will you be when drones are buzzing your property? How happy will
you be if our government falls from delinquency and failure to live up to
our constitution, then the IRS comes knocking on your door to still pay
taxes to a rejected government?
The First Amendment to the US Constitution says, “Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…” While certain
religions are given places in universities and some industries where they
can wash their feet before they pray, the church that Jesus Christ the Lord
is building is ignored. We all must answer to our Creator regardless of what
the state demands which is why He is called God Almighty. The government is
telling our children not to carry their Bible or pray in school or warning
our military not to pray in Jesus’ name. This is in spite of the biblical
fact that He said, “Whatever you ask in my name believing shall be done unto
you.” He did not say we could use some other name for the Son of God or God
the Father that was written in the Bible. The facility of infamy recently
built in Utah to spy on citizens is no doubt a massive violation of God
given rights and constitutional rights. Our forefathers would turn over in
their graves if they knew what was happening in this country today. It is
nothing less than the work of Satan, the Destroyer. We need not give up our
heavenly endowed rights. In order to succeed, it is God we must heed!
There are many things I could add to this list but whether you believe in
God or not does not change the fact that He says, “I AM.” And all those who
seek Him will discover that most certainly God exists, who is both Spirit
and Creator. If we do not receive the gifts of God that grant us forgiveness
of sins, transformation and admittance to His eternal kingdom, we will be
gathered by the angels and turned into bundles to be burned in the fire.
(Matthew 13:30) God says we will be tormented and our screams will ascend up
forever and ever from the Lake of Fire. Already the fallen angels who
preferred Satan to God are reserved in bondage to be cast into that fiery
lake. In fact, it was made for them and not people! God doesn’t want you or
me to go there but the choice is ours. If we attach ourselves to the demonic
we go where they go. I know if I burned my finger I can tolerate less than a
second of that pain before I shout, “Ouch!” My body has been severely burned
at one time and I am sure I want no more of that. We need to join ourselves
unto Jesus, and He will restore us to a right relationship with the
Deliverer and out of the hands of the demonic. If we could deliver
ourselves, Christ would not have needed to die for us and raise again to
live in us!
Let’s take a moment and look at the brief complaints I make concerning the
right to privacy, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,
the freedom of speech and the press, and the freedom from having the
government (like the IRS) telling us or asking us what do we pray about or
penalizing us for having a certain religious perspective. Twenty-three
percent on the planet earth know that they must answer to God. When we die,
the first question we will be asked is, “What have you done with my Son,
Jesus Christ?” God knows you have sinned just as most of us know we have. He
can handle that. He cannot respect you dishonoring the one He gave to die
for your sins!
When I was in high school, I was sent home with a questionnaire. One of the
questions was, “How many escape routes do you have to your house?” If they
had said how many fire escapes do you have that would have been fine but to
say how many escape routes sounded like someone was going to kill us after
they had nailed the doors shut. I gave the note to my parents as I was
supposed to but as a child, I was filled with fear wondering why we would
have to escape from our house! Even then the right to privacy was failing.
Since the government of the free and the brave can now kill its citizens
without ever telling their loved ones that they had done so or why and deny
killing them how do we differ from places like Russia or North Korea? Some
people walk around like they’re in la-la land when we are being cheated from
the things that were promised to be unalienable rights because God gave them
to us. Who else but the devil would deprive us of those rights? Our founding
fathers foresaw the evils that could infect our nation and Eisenhower warned
us of how corrupted a military/industrial complex can become! The followers
of Jesus are called disciples and there are countless ones in America and
around the world. Their religious or spiritual obligations are first of all
to Christ who died on the cross and rose again for us, and their second
obligation is to help provide all the things the constitution guarantees
through government.
While many of the nations fight to obtain one world government, Jesus Christ
has the goal of breaking all the nations into little pieces with the most
terrible earthquake the world has ever experienced. The great composer and
singer, Leonard Cohen, says it this way, “Things are going to slide, slide
in all directions.” These fragments of the earth shall be ruled by the holy
ones of the most high God. (See Revelation 2:27 and Daniel 7:18) You might
kill a field of God’s people (We are not all God’s people according to
scripture; note John 8:44.) You may think you have ended their lives through
your lack of love and your acts of violence, but God can and will raise the
dead and bring forth justice. Ultimately God will have His way and purpose.
Many people look to find America in the Bible and many of them equate Isaiah
18:2 and 18:7 to a description of it. The word peeled is attached to the
word nation and the word people. The definition of the word peeled is
obstinate and independent and comes from the root word to be rash and
perverse, to turn over and to be cruel. We started this country in part by
trapping the beaver and other animals to supply England and Europe and make
fortunes for a few families and fur companies. Legend has it that beaver
when from being a fully daytime animal to being primarily a nocturnal
species to avoid their continual massacre. We also began eliminating the
Native Americans who had taken good care of this place and allowed huge
tracks to be destroyed as if they had never read Revelation 11:18.
In Canada I understand that if you read scriptures from the Bible, the Word
of God, which condemns debauchery you can be fined, arrested and imprisoned.
The United States is not far behind. Is it no longer true that America has
freedom of speech and the press? When we are doing as God says to preach the
gospel to every creature and to command people to come in to His Kingdom
that the wedding of the Lamb may be filled, why do we always have to look
over our shoulder and fear being abused and incarcerated by our so called
protectors? It’s a known fact that Christians even love their enemies. They
do not do suicide attacks on them but pray for them and are concerned about
the destiny of others through their reception or rejection of the Messiah.
The US Constitution guarantees us that congress shall make no laws regarding
the rights of any religious practice. When the first amendment was passed
and long after that, states and our founding fathers decreed the meaning of
“religion.” According to the teachings of the incredible Bill Lederer on
“Faith in History,” George Mason and James Madison stated the understood
definition of religion. “Religion is the duty we owe our Creator and the
manner of discharging that spiritual duty.” When those who know nothing of
God want to change the law such as in the case of the Bill of Rights, when
they cannot get enough votes they simply change the definition of words.
Today religion is defined as whatever belief you hold. Now we have Satan
worship as a religion as well as atheism! The Bible defines religion as
serving Father, Son and Holy Spirit: knowing the one God and His will and
giving heed to it. Caring for widows who are qualified and orphans is one of
His directives.
We must know the will of God, the direction God is leading us and how to
accomplish such will. It has little to do with what we like but what the
Creator desires in our lives. We find this out by meditating in and studying
His Word day and night. In order to follow God we must die to our worldly
and selfish life and become new creatures in Him. We must know Him and His
Son because this intimate relationship with Him is eternal life. (John 17:3)
When people contradict the written and revealed will of God, it exposes the
fact that they do not know Him and do not respect Him. Such people are
doomed to spending eternity in a realm made not for fallen man, but for the
third of the angels who are Satan’s followers and awaiting the lake of fire:
eternal torment because they have no repentance. They desire to serve the
evil one.
The Constitution is the instrument for protecting our society which is
already staring at the corrective moves of the Almighty Himself, like my
earthly father used to say, “I can’t make you obey me, but I can make you
wish you had.” Whatever you sow God says is what you will harvest. As mama
could have said, “Always make sure your words are kind or I’ll be spanking
your behind!”
One point I want all readers to be clear about: when you add to God’s Word,
you better read the Book of Revelation to discover all the plagues that the
Creator is going to add to your life because you added to His Word. For
example, right now I have heard that one religion has melded with another
religion to make something bizarre, worthless and hideous as anything could
be. When you do such a thing to God’s Word, expect the worse from Almighty
God.
And I’ve already addressed this issue of taking away from God’s Word. I read
where one Bible manufacturer seeking to please men has taken at least 150
words and their meanings out of their translation to send abroad. The New
Testament clearly says that we ought to obey God rather than men. (Acts
5:29) After the disciples were commanded by the high priest of Israel, not
to preach or teach in Jesus’ name, they were beaten. Doesn’t this sound like
something our soldiers are being ordered to obey today? Peter and the other
apostles told their self-made commanders, “Ought we not obey God rather than
man?” We don’t kill unborn babies because God said that is an
abomination. If the government says we passed a law saying, “Abortion is
legal,” we still must answer to God for trespassing against His precepts.
God said, “Woe unto those who frame terrible sins and atrocities with a
law.” Human laws do not overrule what God has spoken. Countless atrocities
have happened on the planet for far too long to people in neighborhoods and
nations and lands where countless creatures were meant to live in peace.
Creatures we were supposed to be loving, but because we do not take the Word
of God seriously nor His purposes, we have turned the planet into a place
where “Men’s hearts will be failing them for fear of those things which are
coming upon the earth.” (Luke 21:26) In Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker
entered a cave and informed Yoda that he was not afraid. Yoda looked at him
and said, “Oh, you will be!”
We may have data centers like the one in Utah and the others being currently
approved as well as drones filling our once peaceful skies, but if you
exclude God and His instructions from your life, don’t say you are not
afraid of what is coming because you also will be. You may think proudly
that you are “hot stuff” and there is no doubt that when God gets done with
you, you will be only “hot stuff.” Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but
he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)
Any government that dismisses God as irrelevant and makes plans such as
destroying the environment, creating one world government or forbidding
practices which God commanded, is riding down a slippery slide into hell.
This is not my personal belief or simply the belief of other servants of
God, but it is the mind of our Creator. The time of Satan spreading his
devilish ideas around the planet are near their end. God has promised us a
new world wherein righteousness dwells. If your idea is fulfilling the
desires of the devil, your punishment will also be the punishment of the
evil one, and the wicked nations who reject the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob. (Psalms 9:17) All the creatures are waiting for the Godly sons.
John Adams one of our nation’s first founding fathers said, “We’re a secular
country based on biblical principles. Our constitution was made only for a
moral and a religious people: it is wholly inadequate to the government of
any other. Let it be!
